In a statement released on Monday, January 28, KMTC clarified that interested applicants, including former students, can still submit their applications directly through the KMTC online application portal.
The institution emphasized that although the pre-service intake process via KUCCPS has ended, the opportunity to enroll in professional advancement programmes is still available.
KMTC also encouraged all applicants who successfully applied through KUCCPS for the March 2026 intake to begin preparing their admission requirements early. The college stressed that admissions will be conducted strictly on merit and warned the public to be cautious of fraudsters who falsely claim they can manipulate placements.

According to KMTC, the KUCCPS application window officially closed on Tuesday, January 27, after attracting thousands of applicants. KUCCPS had opened the portal on January 7, allowing students to apply for 36 health-related certificate and diploma programmes offered across 98 KMTC campuses nationwide, with a total capacity of 21,000 available slots.
Meanwhile, KUCCPS has also announced plans to reopen the university and college placement portal in March. Speaking during an interview on Inooro TV on Monday, January 26, KUCCPS Chief Executive Officer Agnes Wahome confirmed that applicants will receive detailed guidance materials once the portal is live to help them make informed course and institution choices.
